Stephen Morgan is Professor of Chinese Economic History at the University of Nottingham and currently on secondment to University of Nottingham Ningbo China campus where he is Dean of Social Sciences. His research is focused on Chinese economic and business history, along with an interest in contemporary economic development and human welfare as well as international business and strategic management, of which the latter are the main areas of teaching. Prior to joining Nottingham in 2007 he was Senior Lecturer in Asian economic history at the University of Melbourne.
