Thilo R. Huning is a lecturer at the Department for Economics and Related Studies of the University of York. He graduated in Information Systems with an M.Sc. before turning to economics, and was awarded a PhD from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in 2018. His interest is at the intersection of economic growth, economic history, economic geography and international trade with data science, especially GIS.
