Thomas O. Zörner is a research economist in the Monetary Policy Section of the Austrian National Bank (Oesterreichische Nationalbank, OeNB) with research focus on macroeconometrics, credit and business cycles, monetary policy issues, and non-linear models in economics. Before this position, he was an assistant professor of Macroeconomics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, served as a consultant for the United Nations Industrial Organisation (UNIDO) and was a visiting researcher at the Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic). He holds a PhD in Economics and a BA in Anthropology.
