Tomohiro Hirano is an Associate Professor of Department of Economics at Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Research Associate at the Center for Macroeconomics at the London School of Economics, and a Research Fellow at the Canon institute for Global Studies in Tokyo. His research focuses on the relationship between speculative bubbles and macroeconomic fluctuations.
