Vanessa Strauss-Kahn

Associate Professor of Economics at ESCP Europe

Vanessa Strauss-Kahn is an Associate Professor of Economics at ESCP Europe since 2008. She received a Ph.D. in Economics from New York University and has been faculty member at INSEAD from 2001 to 2008. Prof. Strauss-Kahn worked for the World Bank, the United Nations, as well as the Inter-American Development Bank on specific missions. She teaches economics to MBA students and executive education participants.She does research on international trade focusing on developing countries' exports, export diversification, the role of imported intermediate goods on the labour market, firm's productivity and export scope as well as the impact of trade liberalisation on quality upgrading of traded goods. Recently, she also worked on financial and political crisis in Africa.
