Venky Venkateswaran

Assistant Professor of Economics at Stern School of Business, New York University (NYU)

Venky Venkateswaran is currently Assistant Professor of Economics at New York University s Stern School of Business and a Faculty Research Fellow of the National Bureau of Economic Research. His research focuses on the role of information in macroeconomics. Prior to joining NYU Stern, Professor Venkateswaran worked as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Pennsylvania State University, and earlier as Vice President of Fixed Income Research at Lehman Brothers. Professor Venkateswaran received a Bachelor of Commerce from the Mahatma Gandhi University in India, an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California Los Angeles.
