Wenjie Chen

Wenjie Chen is an Assistant Professor of International Business at the George Washington School of Business. She received her MA and PhD in economics from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and BA in economics and mathematics from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wis. She has also worked at the Research Department at the International Monetary Fund. Professor Chen's main research interests include cross-border mergers and acquisitions, emerging markets and exchange rates. She has published in academic journals including the Journal of International Economics and the IMF Economic Review. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in international business.
