Xiaoying Li is a Lecturer at the Center for Studies of Hong Kong, Macao and Pearl River Delta, Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China. She graduated from the Ph.D. program in Economic department of Lingnan School in Sun Yat-sen University, and spent one year as a Visiting Fellow at the Labor and Worklife program in Harvard Law School. Her main research field lies in labour economics and economic development (China economy). Currently she is especially interested in labour relations of migrant workers in China, informal employment and unemployment of college graduates in China.
