Yavuz is an economist with research interests in macro-finance, monetary economics, housing and mortgage markets, financial stability, and asset pricing. Before joining Liverpool, Yavuz held positions at the Central Bank of Turkey and the Bank for International Settlements. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Rochester.
