Yiru Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Pittsburgh. She received her B.Sc. in Finance from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2013, earned her M.Sc. in Economics and Finance from the Barcelona School of Economics in 2015, and obtained her Ph.D. in Economics from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2020.    Her research focuses on time series econometrics, empirical macroeconomics, and forecasting.
