Yuan Yuan

PhD student in Marketing at Carnegie Mellon University

Yuan Yuan is a Marketing Ph.D. student at Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University. He received his bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley and finished his pre-doc at Stanford University, advised by Prof. Susan Athey. His current research interest is in digital marketing, technology & innovation, and the intersection of machine learning and economics, including causal inference, applying structured economic models to unstructured data, and interpretable machine learning. He has worked on the application areas such as fairness in the online marketplace and crypto-marketing.
