Yuki Hashimoto

Yuki Hashimoto is a RIETI Fellow. She began her career at Japan’s Ministry of Justice in 2001. She was a Yale university Fox Fellow in 2008 and a visiting scholar at the Population Research Center of the University of Maryland from 2010-2012, with lecturer and associate professor postings at Hitotsubashi and Kyushu Universities until 2017. She has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Tokyo. Her areas of expertise and research focus on labor economics, immigrant workers and platform workers, and has published in various academic journals including Journal of the Japanese and International Economies, Social Science Japan Journal, Public Policy Review and in various books and RIETI discussion Paper series.
