Yukiko Asai

Yukiko Asai is a Postdoctoral Researcher and Instructor at the Harris School of Public Policy, University of Chicago, and an Adjunct Researcher at Faculty of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University. Prior to joining Harris, Asai was a Junior Researcher (Assistant Professor) at Waseda University, a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Tokyo, and a Lecturer in Labor Economics at the University of California Berkeley. Her research focuses on effects of family leave and child care policies. She holds a PhD in economics from Keio University.
