Zsofia is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Business at the Central European University. She is also an affiliate of the Macroeconomics and Growth (MG) Programme Area of the Centre for Economic Policy Research, and a fellow and coordinator of the Macroeconomics group of the Hungarian Society of Economics. She holds a PhD and an MSc from the London School of Economics. Her main research interest is in economic growth, technological change, and its impact on the labor market. A large part of her work aims at understanding the driving forces behind long-run trends in the evolution of labor market outcomes, such as inequality, or job polarization, taking into account individual heterogeneity. Her work has been published, among others, in the Journal of Labor Economics, the AEJ: Macroeconomics, the Review of Economic Dynamics.
