Annual Research Conference of the CAS “Finance and Inequality”

The DFG-sponsored Center for Advanced Studies "Finance and Inequality" at the University of Bonn invites submissions for its Annual Research Conference of the CAS “Finance and Inequality,” in Bonn, August 28-29, 2025.
The Center for Advanced Studies "Finance and Inequality" at the University of Bonn is pleased to announce a its annual research conference to be held on August 28 and 29, 2025. This two-day event will bring together leading scholars to discuss recent advances in the field. The center’s aim is to fruitfully foster the exchange of scholars in economic and financial history and in macroeconomics working on the link between finance and inequality.
We invite submissions of high-quality research papers focusing on, but not limited to, the following areas:
- Macroeconomics of frictional financial markets
- Heterogeneous agent macroeconomics
- History of personal income and wealth distribution
- History of macroeconomics, financial markets and institutions
The conference will consist of two half-day sessions, providing ample opportunity for presentations and discussions.

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:
Please submit your paper in PDF format by April 25, 2025 to [email protected]. In your submission, include the title, abstract, and contact information for all authors. Early submissions are encouraged. Preference will be given to full papers. We expect to notify successful submissions by May 15, 2025.
FUNDING:
The center provides accommodation for up to three days and covers travel expenses of presenters according in line with the CEPR Travel Guidelines.
