The 2nd CEPR Rising Asia workshop, cohosted by the University of Tokyo’s Center for Advanced Research in Finance (CARF) and the Institute for Future Initiatives (IFI), exchanged views on recent academic research on issues related to Asian countries’ macroeconomic and financial issues.

The conference focused on the following topics, though not restricted to:

  • Sustainable macroeconomic development 

  • ESG investments 

  • Risks from climate change on macroeconomy and finance 

  • Impacts of commodity price movements
