The University of Liverpool will host a Workshop on Macroeconomics on June 13-14, 2024. The organising committee cordially invites submissions of high-quality theoretical or empirical research on any topic related to macroeconomics. Both completed papers and extended abstracts will be considered.

We particularly encourage submissions of new work on the following topics:

  • Heterogeneity
  • Monetary policy
  • Labour Markets
  • Inflation Dynamics
  • Financial Stability

Confirmed keynote speaker:

  • Frank Portier (Professor of Economics, University College London and CEPR)

Prospective speakers should submit their papers by Sunday, April 14, 2024, at the latest. Please submit your paper or extended abstract to [email protected]. Notification of acceptance will be provided by the end of April 2024. Please note that the event will be held in person only.

In your submission email, please also indicate whether you require any funding support. Some funding is available for travel and/or accommodation expenses for participants presenting papers and will be awarded on a discretionary basis.
