Second Middle East Spatial and International Economics Conference (MESIE) organized by NYU Abu Dhabi

This conference will gather scholars interested in spatial and international economics, broadly defined. Relevant topics include, but are not limited to: globalization, supply chains, trade policy, transportation infrastructure, urban economics, etc. See last year’s program here.

Funding

Traveling and hotel accommodation will be provided to participants according to CEPR guidelines. Please notify the organizers if you are able to use your own research funds for attendance.

Submissions

We accept the submission of extended abstracts, but preference will be given to completed papers.

Authors who already have a CEPR HUB profile can upload their submission by:

  • Going to https://hub.cepr.org/ and logging in
  • After you have logged in, go to https://hub.cepr.org/event/4070
  • Click on "Step 1: Apply"
  • Under "Apply to Attend" click "Yes"
  • Tick the boxes that apply to you
  • Tick "Would you like to submit a paper?", upload your paper and supply the requested information.
  • Click "Submit form" to make the submission.

Authors who do not have a CEPR HUB profile can upload their submission by:

  • Creating a new profile here https://hub.cepr.org/user/register
  • After you have logged in, go to https://hub.cepr.org/event/4070
  • Click on "Step 1: Apply"
  • Under "Apply to Attend" click "Yes"
  • Tick the boxes that apply to you
  • Tick "Would you like to submit a paper?", upload your paper and supply the requested information.
  • Click "Submit form" to make the submission.

The deadline for submissions is Saturday, September 30, 2023. We expect to notify authors by October 15.
