Congratulations to CEPR Researchers Darrell Duffie and Marc Melitz, who have received the 2023 Onassis Prize. Awarded by the Onassis Foundation every three yearsthe prize recognises personalities and organisations of international prestige in the fields of Finance, International Trade, and Shipping. Darell was awarded the Onassis Prize 2023 in Finance, and Marc, the Onassis Prize 2023 in International Trade.

Darrell Duffie is a member of CEPR's Fintech & Digital Currencies Research Policy Network. Darrell is the Dean Witter Distinguished Professor of Finance at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. He is a member of the Financial Advisory Roundtable of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and a Fellow and member of the Council of the Econometric Society.

Marc Melitz is a Research Fellow for CEPR's International Trade and Regional Economic programme. Marc is the David A. Wells Professor of Political Economy at Harvard University. He is a fellow of the Econometric Society and is affiliated with the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), CESifo, and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.
