Alain Jousten

Alain Jousten is Professor of Economics at HEC - University of Liège and holds a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has extensive experience in policy advice with the OECD, the World Bank, the IMF and others. Professor Jousten is a Research Fellow with IZA in Bonn and Netspar in Tilburg, a member of the panel of experts of the Fiscal Affairs Department of the IMF and a Visiting Professor at Maastricht University. His research interests are tax policy, retirement incentives and pension system sustainability.
