Sergio Perelman

Professor of Economics at University of Liège

Sergio Perelman obtained his first degree in Economics at the University of Buenos Aires and a PhD. in Economics at the University of Liège, Belgium, where he is Professor of Economics since 1991. Since 2004 he is the Belgium/French speaking Country Team Leader of SHARE, the “Survey on Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe”. His research interests are on ageing, mainly on retirement decisions, and on frontier analysis applied to the measurement of efficiency and productivity growth.
