Alessandra Casarico is Associate Professor of Public Economics at Bocconi University, Italy. She is associate editor of the Journal of Economic Inequality, CESIfo Research Fellow, and Dondena Research Associate. Her main research interests fall in public and gender economics. She has published in international refereed journals such as the Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Labor Economics, Economic Journal, the Journal of Population Economics and Regional Science and Urban Economics. She is active in the policy debate on gender gaps.
