Allen Huang is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Allen’s research focus on executive compensation, textual processing, earnings management, financial analyst and short-selling. He has published in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Accounting Research, The Accounting Review, Management Science and Contemporary Accounting Research. Prior to joining HKUST, he worked in the Quantitative Equity Strategy team in Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital in New York. Allen holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Duke University and a B.S. in Electronics from Peking University in China.
