Andrew Fieldhouse is an economics Ph.D. candidate at Cornell University. His research interests are in macroeconomic policy and applied macroeconomics, with recent research focusing on housing credit policy and government interventions in mortgage markets. He previously worked on a range of tax and budget policy issues as a federal budget policy analyst with the Economic Policy Institute and an assistant budget analyst with the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on the Budget. He holds an M.A. in Economics from Cornell and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Swarthmore College.
