Armon Rezai is Asscoiate Professor in Environmental Economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), Director of Policy at the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (WIIW), and a Researcher at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA). His research interests lie in macroeconomics (growth and distribution) and environmental economics (climate change). Before joining his current department, he earned a doctorate in economics from The New School for Social Research and worked at the United Nations University’s World Institute for Development Economics Research in Helsinki. He has been a Fulbright fellow and a Schrödinger Fellow of the Austrian Science Fund.
