Camilo Umana-Dajud is an international trade economist at CEPII, the leading French institute for research and expertise on the world economy. His research focuses on trade and development, international trade agreements, and the impacts of infrastructure on trade. Camilo was previously an economist with the Science, Technology and Innovation Directorate of the OECD, where he developed the OECD’s machine learning model to measure ICT sector growth. He is also a lecturer in international trade at Paris Dauphine University and l’ENA. His research has been referenced in media such as The Economist, Le Monde and Euronews. Camilo holds a Ph.D. in economics from Sciences Po Paris and has been a visiting scholar at Princeton University, Yale University and the London School of Economics.
