Caue Dobbin is a Ph.D. Candidate at Stanford University. His main interests are the causes and consequences of economic inequality, with a focus on education. His research is mostly empirical and addresses issues such as the unequal returns to higher education, affirmative action, intergenerational mobility, migration and personnel economics of the state. His research has been supported by the Stanford Center on Global Poverty and Development, the Weiss Fund for Research in Development Economics, George P. Shultz Scholar Fund, Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences, Microsoft Azure Research, and the Stanford Center for Computational Social Science. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Brasilia and an M.A. in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.
