Dr. Christian Fons-Rosen is an Assistant Professor of Economics at UC Merced, and a Research Fellow at MPI Munich and CEPR. His areas of interest include the economics of science and innovation, firm productivity, and labor. His work has been funded by the European Union Horizon 2020 Project and the Spanish Ministry of Education, among other agencies.
Before joining UC Merced in 2018, he was an Associate Professor at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona) and he has collaborated with the Bank of Spain and the Bank of England. He has held visiting positions at UC San Diego and LMU Munich.
