Clément Anne is an Economist and Data Scientist currently in charge of the yearly census on French Sports Licences and studies on sports practices at INJEP, Paris. PhD Graduate since 2019 from CERDI in Clermont-Ferrand, his thesis “Beyond the Resource Curse: Macroeconomic Strategies in resource-dependent countries” focused on macroeconomic challenges encountered by resource-dependent economies such as fiscal procyclicality, export diversification, and the build-up of Sovereign Wealth Funds. His working experience also features a 6-months visiting in the Fiscal Affair Department (FAD) of the IMF, as well as a 4-years stance with the Trade and International Integration Unit of the Development Research Group (DECTI) at the World Bank working on tariff evasion and product misclassification in Madagascan customs.
