Daisuke Miyakawa

Daisuke Miyakawa is a Professor of Economics at Hitotsubashi University Business School (HUB). Prior to his current position, he was an Associate Professor at the Hitotsubashi University Business School, Hitotsubashi University Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy (ICS), and Nihon University; a Research Associate at The Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, Harvard University; an Associate Senior Economist at the Development Bank of Japan-Research Institute of Capital Formation; and an Officer at the Development Bank of Japan. His primary research is on financial institutions and firm dynamics. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from UCLA.
