Elena Paltseva

Elena Paltseva is an Associate Professor at the SITE - Stockholm School of Economics. She works on topics within Political Economics, Energy and Resource Economics, Public Economics and Gender Economics. She holds a Ph.D. from Stockholm School of Economics (2006). Before joining the SITE, Paltseva has worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Copenhagen and as a postdoc at IIES, Stockholm University. Elena has also been a visiting professor at New Economic School, Moscow. She is also the editor of FREE Policy Briefs series at SITE, a publication of FREE network aimed at providing research-based analyses on current economic policy challenges in Eastern Europe and emerging markets.
