Ester Faia is Professor at Goethe University Frankfurt holding a Chair in Monetary and Fiscal Policy. She is Fellow of CEPR. She earned bachelor and master from Bocconi University and a Ph.D. from New York University. She has been consulting for various European policy institutions and has been awarded several grants and research awards at European level. She published extensively in the field of monetary, banking and labour.
