Francesc Ortega is the Dina N. Perry Associate Professor of Economics at Queens College, City University of New York. Francesc joined Queens College in 2009. Prior to that he was an Assistant and then Associate Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He earned a Ph.D. in Economics from New York University in 2004. Francesc’s research focuses on the economics of migration, using both empirical and theory-based approaches.
