Francesco Drago is Professor of Economics at the University of Catania and a research fellow of the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). He got his PhD in Economics at the University of Siena. His main areas of research are political economy and the economics of crime. He has published in several journals such as the Journal of Political Economy, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, and the Journal of the European Economic Association.
