Franziska is a Research Assistant at the Environmental Change Institute, and a visiting doctoral student with the Institute for New Economic Thinking, University of Oxford. Franziska's broader research interests include climate change mitigation measures, especially carbon pricing, and their distributional impacts, welfare economics and the normative evaluation of policy instruments. Previously, she has gained experience with the United Nations Environment Programme in Paris and the International Institute for Sustainable Development in Geneva working on fossil fuel subsidy reform. She holds an MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy from the London School of Economics and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Münster University, Germany.
