Gabor Katay

Gabor Katay is an economist at the European Commission. Since 2021, he works for the  Directorate General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion. Between 2016 and 2021, he was a researcher at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC). Previously he worked at the Banque de France (2013-2016) and at the Central Bank of Hungary (2003-2013). He also spent eight months at the Research Department of the European Central Bank. He holds a Ph.D. degree from Paris School of Economics.
