Giovanni Favara is an Assistant Director in the Division of Monetary Affairs at the Federal Reserve Board. His research focuses on corporate finance, the macroeconomics of credit, monetary policy and the housing market. He received a Ph.D. in economics from IIES at Stockholm University, and a M.Sc. in mathematical economics and econometrics from the London School of Economics.
