Gustavo Gonzaga is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at PUC-Rio (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro). He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from UC Berkeley, and MA and BA degrees in Economics from PUC-Rio. His primary research is in the field of Labor Economics, mostly on Brazilian labor market institutions. His work has been published in American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, Labour Economics, Journal of International Economics, Journal of Development Economics, Economía: Journal of the Latin American and Economic Association, and in the main Brazilian journals. He developed and coordinates the project Data Zoom, which provides free codes in Stata and R to access microdata from the main Brazilian household surveys.
