I am a full professor and Head of the international economics section at the University of Leuven in Belgium. I started my academic career as a lecturer at the University of Cambridge, UK.
After that I was a professor at the university of Louvain-la-neuve for several years, affiliated to the center CORE. In the US, I have been teaching as a visiting professor at Dartmouth College and a regular visitor to Penn State in the US.
