Jan Eeckhout is Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He previously held positions at the University of Pennsylvania, NYU Stern Business School and was visiting scholar at MIT. His research interests focus on labour markets, and in particular in the matching process theories and applications.
Jan Eeckhout earned his PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics. He holds a MA in Economics from Manchester University.
