Jasper Blom

Jasper Blom is a Research Affiliate in the Political Economy and Transnational Governance (PETGOV) programme of the department of Political Science of the University of Amsterdam. He holds a PhD in International Political Economy from the same university. He works on issues of banking regulation, international financial architecture, political economy of financial markets, and sovereign debt restructuring. He publishes academically as well as policy-oriented reports and articles, and has (Co-) edited the volumes Global Financial Integration Thirty Years on: from Reform to Crisis (Cambridge University Press, 2010, with Geoffrey Underhill and Daniel Mugge) and The Credit Crisis: a Political Economy Perspective (in Dutch, Amsterdam University Press, 2010). He has also served as an Adviser on International Economy and Financial Institutions to the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands.
