Jesus Fernandez-Huertas Moraga

Jesus Fernandez-Huertas Moraga joined Universidad Carlos III in Madrid in December 2015. Previously, he worked at the Institute for Economic Analysis (CSIC) in Barcelona, at FEDEA and at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. He received his B.A. in Economics from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid and his Ph. D. in Economics from Columbia University. His main research interest is international migration and his current work concentrates on the theoretical and empirical study of the determinants of international migration, the theory of international cooperation in migration policies and the causes and consequences of the Spanish immigration boom.
