Simone Bertoli is Assistant Professor at the CERDI, University of Auvergne, since 2011. He got a PhD in Development Economics from the University of Florence in 2007, and he held post-doc and research positions at the Institute for Employment Research, Nuremberg, and at the European University Institute. His research interests include the determinants of international migration flows, their implications for the development of the countries of origin, international trade and development aid.
