Joan R. Rosés is a Professor at the Department of Economic History at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He is an editor of the European Review of Economic History. His research interests comprise Historical Economic Geography, European economic history (19th and 20th centuries), long-term economic growth and productivity, and labour markets.
