Johannes Buggle is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Business and Economics (HEC) at the University of Lausanne. He received a PhD in Economics from Sciences Po Paris, and was a visiting fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, and Brown University. His research studies the long-run factors of economic growth and development, as well as the drivers of migration, and was published in the Review of Economics and Statistics, the Economic Journal, and the Journal of Economic Growth.
