Johannes Pfeifer is an Associate Professor at the Center for Macroeconomic Research at the University of Cologne. Previously, he taught at the Universities of Tübingen and Mannheim. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Bonn. His research interests are mainly in macroeconomics, with a focus on fiscal and monetary policy, uncertainty, and business cycles. His research has appeared in academic journals such as the American Economic Review, the Journal of Monetary Economics, the Journal Economic Dynamics and Control, and the Review of Economics and Statistics.
