John Guyton

John Guyton is the Chief of the Partnership and Innovation Lab in the IRS Office of Research, Applied Analytics, and Statistics. John’s primary research topics concern the needs and behavior of individual and corporate taxpayers. John also represents the IRS as co-lead of a multi-lateral Behavioral Insights Community of Interest coordinated through the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and the associated Forum on Tax Administration. John is active in the National Tax Association and the Behavioral Science and Policy Association. In his role as head of the IRS Partnership and Innovation Lab, John co-leads the IRS Joint Statistical Research Program.
