John Tsoukalas

John Tsoukalas joined the Adam Smith Business School, where he is a Professor in Economics, in August 2011. He previously held positions at the University of Nottingham and served as an Economist at the Bank of England. He holds an undergraduate degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business and a PhD degree from the University of Maryland, USA. John’s research interests are macroeconomics, finance, applied econometrics, financial economics, fiscal and monetary economics. His work has been published in outlets such as the American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, Review of Economics and Statistics, Economic Journal, the Review of Economic Dynamics, the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, and the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking.
