Jonas Hjort is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Columbia University and Theme Leader for the 'Innovation, Organisations and Markets' research theme at PEDL (CEPR). His research spans issues in development, labour and behavioural economics, with a particular focus on topics in their intersection. Jonas holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, an MA in International and Development Economics from Yale and a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.
