Jonas Jessen is a Postdoctoral Researcher at WZB and IAB. He is also an Affiliated Member and Research Fellow at IZA and a member of the Berlin School of Economics. Jonas is an applied microeconomist with a research focus on labour economics. In his work he is interested in determinants of gender inequality and how institutional frameworks impact labour market outcomes. Jonas obtained his PhD from DIW and Freie Universität Berlin. His work has been published in, among others, American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, The Economic Journal, Journal of Public Economics and Journal of Politics.
